I'm not a computer geek but there's nice to give people little tips to improve the performance of the pc's or laptops.
If you've got a dual core processor you can make you pc to boot faster, by default your operative system use only one of the cores so go to execute (or win key + R) then write msconfig go to the option boot and there to advanced options, you'll be able to set the your 2 ( 3 or 4 depending how many you've got) cores.
Then restart and that's it, you pc should boot at least 20% faster.
It works in XP and Vista.
Coming soon more easy tips about how to improve performance on your pc.
Best Regards
