I'm just filled with dread! I don't know if I'm excited, scared, happy or terrified, but the time to choose a university has come! I want to go to the University of Alberta, since it is FAR away form MX City, but still on the same continent. However, my father refuses to pay for it! It is not that he couldn't afford it, it's more like since he paied his university working as a waiter in the UK, he want me to do the same! One of the notes in getting a study permit in Canada, is you MUST be able to pay the whole duration of the program, you must NOT rely on working to maintain yourself there. If I don't het him to agree, I'll end up in the UNAM here in MX. By itself, it is a great place, I'd be studing in Cuernavaca, but I'm not entirely convinced by it... I want to go somewhere else... I could go to Europe, having the French Baccaleaureat (?) I could get into a CPrèpa (if I improved my grades) or a regular University in the UE unifed......

I don't care what religion suits you, this is the time we should all celebrate family and friends, we should gorge ourselves on good food and spend quality time with our loved ones. If your a muslim, jewish, or other, just be happy! Exchange gifts
and have good wishes, that is what we should all celebrate, not someone's supposed birth... X-mas is more that just a chrisitan tradition, it has become a global event (who doesn't have a Chisrmas tree?), and I think most self-proclaimed christians do not remember the christ so much these days... Oh well, religion has sparked too many a conflict, gifts are more friendly.
In other news, I took a one week vacation to Acapulco, the beach was nice and the weather good. I ate more that I thought I could (Applebee's, Hard Rock Café, Planet Hollywood, Sushi Itto....) and lazyied around the pool sunbathing. Great break from the daily routine of school.
Speaking of the devil, this is my final......

Between school and school, I haven't had the time to update this blog. I opened another one on Spaces Live, so I'm kind of unsure about which will get the most attention. At present, I'm thinking about making one a personal blog (me, myself and I basically) and the other a narrative, a short story of sorts... I'd prefer keeping this one as the personal one as I can get some safe anonimity amongst the community, but the I prefer this one for long texts... Stay tuned, and if you're interested, I'd appreciate ideas!

I just read in Newsweek en Espa?ol that
Nicolas Sarkozy, the french president, has implemented some
pro-american policies. About time, France has always critized
everything the US do, yet they reluctantly agree with
them
. I mean, they keep thinking, and
pondring, and evaluating, and calculating, yet when it comes to
action, it is always "je doute, donc je pense, donc je suis".
There isn't a "je fait" included
. It would appear
Sarkozy (Sarko l'américain comme on dit...) has finally broken
centuries old dogma. Good for you!
On another note, I've decided to rebuild my
LEGO collection. I had no idea I had some sets, but I'm still
building them. So far I've got 5 ships, 2 vehicles, and an
outpost. Quite a small collection, but I guess I was not all
that pempered when little...
Il me faut coucher t?t, à la prochaine!

So I haven't been posting for a few weeks, well school has taken
up much of my time. That's why I hate
it...
What's new? Well I accidentally rammed a street pole (you
know, the one's filled with concrete?) that wrecked my car's
front
. It was 6AM, I was drowsy and my front
lights decided to turn off. I'm getting those blasted lights
fixed...
I downloaded BitComet's eMule plugin (a must have!), has been
working great, til now. BC claims it isn't
installed
... I'll check the forums later on.
On another note, I've finally got the first season of
Farscape. By far, my favorite SciFi series of all
time!
Finally, it appears my carnivourous plant (dioneae MUSCIPULLA)
is finally getting over that hidious fungus. Believe it
or not, the fungus came from a desert plant, a zotolín (native to
the southern mexican desert). How it managed to survive in a
marsh plant, I have no idea... Fungi are weird...
