So apparently congress has been asked by the movie/music industries to create a law that forces ISP's to monitor downloads and internet usage.  Say goodbye to your freedom of speech and right to privacy.  I doubt that ISP's will stop at watching for illegal downloads.  Major ISP's would take advantage of this law and probably monitor internet usage overall.  Possibly throw in targetted advertising with the software they already put out with their service.  If this law is passed, the internet will become even more commercial than it is now.  Write your local congressman and tell him that you DON'T want this law passed, for all the good it'll do.  The government isn't really by the people for the people anymore anyway.  Might as well go to communism.  That's about where we're at right now.  If you think otherwise, don't kid yourself.  Our freedoms are disappearing day by day.
