Hacktivists took over control of almost 300 Facebook community groups in a bid to highlight concerns over how easy it might
be for miscreants to hijack a shared interest group on the social networking site. Facebook said no hacking was involved in
the attack, which it dismisses as a stunt.
The Control Your Info group, on the other hand, claims its take-over of 289 Facebook groups illustrates why the social
networking site ought to tighten its security policy. The group exploited Facebook control features it argues are insecure,
rather than website security bugs or vulnerabilities.
Facebook groups exist as venues for people with common interests to congregate and exchange ideas, pictures, and the like.
The way Facebook works means that if administrator of a group leaves, any other member of the group can take over control.

Windows 7 simplifies tasks and lets people get more done in less time with fewer clicks. Ready to
deploy now, it enhances corporate data protection and security, and increases control to improve
compliance and reduce risk.... making it easier to reduce costs, improve performance, and enable end
users to work anywhere. These and other enhancements are the result of close collaboration with
millions of customers and thousands of IT professionals... Thanks in large part to their help, Windows
7 is the best PC operating system we have ever built. Of course, this time Ballmer really means it. He
also really meant it when he said the same things about Vista, XP, NT, Windows 98, Win 95, and every
other Windows OS going back to DOS 2.1, with the possible exception of Windows ME. More disturbing is
that he truly believes it.Info from:

The Genus will launch in the first quarter of 2010 for an unspecified amount for enterprise and government customers. A consumer version is also planned, to launch sometime later in the future.
TerreStar successfully completed in-orbit testing on its TerreStar-1 satellite in mid-August, and is currently completing its integration with its ground-based beam forming system and its IP network. That also implies that the satellite apabilities
won't work on the other side of the globe in China, for example.
AT&T said that its monthly invoice will include the customer's cellular voice and data service charges, the satellite network access subscription feature charge and the satellite voice and data roaming charges.
