I am not very good at this I am ashamed to admit.
I am in the generation of 40 somethings that have had no proper experience with Computers at all , and everything I know (limited) is self taught.
I was introduced to this site - thanks - and have no problems in downloading films, music files etc onto my hard drive, but these only play on the computer later when I try to download them onto a CD or DVD. In fact, now I cannot even do that (I could but even that is beyond me now) Not on my DVD or CD player. What I really need is an idiots guide from someone to help me here. Treat me as thick as you like - I have tried loads of things but I am not geting the hang of it properly. Operating system is Windows XP. Lap top purchased new earlier this year so it is quite a recent one.
