It's billfish - not bullfish. My name is not billfish.
The handle is because I like to fish for marlin; sailfish, blue
marlin, black marlin - basically anything with a bill. The 98083
is the zip code of my PO box in Kirkland WA. I have since moved
back to Pacific Beach (San Diego).
I'm a hardware/software engineer but now mentally challenged due
excessive partying and consumption of massive amounts of tequila
and beer for 62 years. I'm now daytrading only, instead of having
a day job and trading when no one is looking.
My Asus P4P800E crapped out recently after spraying canned air to
clean all the fans. Turns on for 5 seconds then powers off. Bad
power supply, short on MB, bad drive (2 SATA's & 2 IDE's). Video
board crapped out because fan quit due to dust, but PC still pwrd
up. With new graphics card, now just craps after turning on.
Disconnected new graphics card, and all drives, and still craps
out. Never use that canned air. I saw condesation coming out and
noticed I forgot to unplug the PC - the Green MB power LED was on.
Oh my gosh. Have an Intel 3.2Ghz P4 processor and 2 Gig. I run 4
monitors with a special card from Appian Graphics.
I enjoy your posts - sorry for the winded post here, but I could
really use some ideas on how to proceed on my dead tower. BTW, I
cleared the RTC and CMOS ram data - no help.
