Go to this site: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr71
and download msvcr71.dll.zip. Unzip and add the msvcr71.dll to folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Restart player.
This should work for all whom had playback problems as I did.
msvcr71.dll didn't help me. It worked fine before I reformatted the harddrive. Does the older version......
