Speed Up Vista: Increase the Menu Speed!
Windows
Vista has all kinds of Speed Up abilities. Why don’t MS speed up
Windows as we do, before we buy the software? I have no clue but I’m
glad, other wise I would have much less to write about.
I
was going thru the WO archives to see what kind of Vista Speed Up
Tricks we’ve covered so far and that’s quite a number. The most popular
is with out a doubt a trick that we cover a little later which is how
to disable your User Account Control – UAC.
For increasing the menu speed in Windows Vista you’ll need to take the following steps.
What
we’ll need to do is tweak the Windows register and you can do that via
pressing the Windows Key + R or you can go to start and enter Run in
the search bar.
If you haven’t the disabled your User Account Control – UAC, you’ll see a pop-up asking you for permission.
The standard setting should be 400 but now change the Value data to 1.
Now with this Vista Speed Up Trick you should have a super Duper Quick Vista Operating System…
We’ll
I wish, you’ve increased the menu speed with 399 milliseconds. If you
use this in combination with all the other speed up tricks you really
feel the difference but with only this trick, you pretty quick used to
the setting and you won’t even notice it. But it’s worth a try, I’m
using it.
