Opening a Location or Webpage much Faster with the Address Bar.
Most
people open a webpage with double clicking the IE button on their
desktop or via start. Then when IE starts you’ll first get your default
homepage and then you’ll have to open the page that you really want.
The same goes for a location on your hard disk on in your network. As
you can understand; this takes up unnecessary time. There is a method
in Microsoft XP and Vista to really speed this up.
To open up a Location or Webpage with the address bar you’ll need to take the following steps.
-
First you’ll need to right click on a blank area of your taskbar.
-
The shortcut menu will open.
-
Then select Toolbars.
-
And mark the Address Bar.
Now you see the word Address in your taskbar.
