Show Your Hidden Files in Microsoft Vista

With the next Vista Tip and Trick you have to be somewhat careful. There are lots of files hidden in Microsoft Vista (and XP) and it can be useful to see them. But do be careful; the hidden system and program files aren’t hidden for nothing;).

To show all the hidden files in MS Vista you’ll need to take the following steps.

·         Press the start button

·         And open your Control Panel

·         Click on Folder Options

·         Select the View tab

·         Select Show hidden files and folders

If you want to see all the hidden system files as well you’ll need to uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)

 Now click OK and that’s it.
