Remove the Vista Security Shield Icon

If you want to hide this Vista Security Shield Icon from your system tray you’ll need to follow the next few steps.

• Right click on the Vista Security Shield Icon.
• Open your Security Center.
• Now click on Change the Way Security Center Alerts Me.

• Now select Don’t notify me and don’t display the icon (even though Windows tells you it’s Not Recommended).

And that’s it, now you have removed the Vista Security Shield Icon
