Provisional entry list for 2010 World Championship still to be decided.
The deadline for applications for entry in the 2010 Moto2/250cc World Championship passed this weekend, and IRTA have received valid proposals from a total of 47 teams for 91 entries in the series.
89 of the applications are for the use of the Honda-powered 600cc Moto2 machines that will debut in 2010, whilst just a further pair come from the existing 250cc class still permitted to run bikes next season.
A selection committee comprising FIM, Dorna and IRTA representatives will meet at the next round of the MotoGP World Championship – the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya- to decide on the provisional entry list for the new category.
