I just had a talk with my colleague who I asked about a test shoot.
She told me that she'd recommend a close friend of her's whom she works with as an assistant in photo shoots. He is quite well-known though (not sure about outside the country). Shocked to find out it was $500 per session *major dumb looking pout* But she mentioned that per session means until everything ends. So, there is no time limit, no picture taken limit. Then, I'll only get the gd pictures out of the whole session. I guess it's not too bad. So if I'm bad at it, then I'll have less pictures. If I'm awesome!! I'll have most or all of them xD
Though I doubt that would be the case.
I requested to set up a short meeting session with the expensive pha-toe-gra-fer to brief on my current ideas and get info on whatelse I need to do before booking a photoshoot session.
I need to start ego boosting myself to look confident now.Now. NOW!
Maybe fly over to my boyfriend and order him to say I'm hawt.. heh heh eh..hehh.....
I'm still thinking if I need to wait for my braces to be taken out. Though I think it'll look better for me without it.
Until that time, I need to:
lather myself in baby oil to get my skin looking better (exaggerated).
condition my hair & not cut it
vaseline my toes
do hawt looking poses in front of the mirror to know my angles
put ice on my eyebags and pores
use a loofah thingy
face & body scrub
and;
actually doing all of that on a routine (not daily - crazy) without skipping.
Which is why I made up a schedule to follow =D
I'll need to ask my friend if I could borrow her clothes from the boutique next. Since I'll be seeing her tomorrow anyway.
If she refuses for some reason, then I'll just have to buy more clothes for myself!

Hi peepoles~ (think what you want with that word). I found the website for that photographer and the charges are something like this.
The Boss Photographer - $400 standard (no time/shot limit)
His minions - $150 (45mins per session for 1 person. 10 best images will be edited and given when they're done).
Minions don't sound so bad since 45mins is a reasonable time no? Plus it's cheapER too... But I wonder if the 45mins include outfit change and touch up on makeup. I'll have to ask that. Anyone got any opinion about this?
Oh.. I went over to my friend's shop today like I said I would~ She said that she wouldn't mind lending some of the outfit for the shoot and just let her know when ( ^ _ ^ ) and how many.
She also said she's planning to make a wall in her shop with pictures of her customers wearing her clothes. So people who wore their clothes can take pictures whenever and just send it in to her shop. Isn't she cool~
So I've got the approval for outfits.
Next...
I will probably need to look for a makeup artist next and ask how much they charge for studio makeup and how much if I hired them for a day. I probably will just ask them to do one makeup style and let my colleague (the photographer) experiment on me as we progress in the shoot. For being 'cheap' as a reason. Currently, I know one who charges $50 for studio makeup but not sure about the rate for hire.
I've got my dental appointment on 2nd April, so I can ask my doc to predict when should I be able to get my braces out. =D They're straight now.. just need to close up the gaps where my molars were extracted.
I'm still waiting for an appointment with my colleague and the photographer to talk about whatelse I need to have ready and how it works on the shoot. But I'm not in a hurry since all these depends on my braces.
