I just feel the need to get my thoughts out cause I think it's ridiculous really..
I don't understand the culture as to why some people go through the following life procedure:
- finish studying (it doesn't matter where you stop - highschool or uni)
- get a job (it doesn't matter how low pay)
- get attached (or if you are already attached)
- get married (as soon as possible preferrably)
- have a family (like 3 to 5 children and cat)
I'm only targetting at those people who have the chance to plan and didn't do it properly. So those, who had a 'miss cue' / 'shotgun' / 'accidents' I'm not talking about you.
Why do you plan on having a family when you cannot even support yourself. You DO NOT do this just to follow tradition. You'll be struggling to support your kid. Or are you forcing your kid to struggle too. They get a job because the family is poor (and you'd collect a small amount from his earnings) and not because you want to teach him to earn money on his own to understand the importance of it. You youself, a parent, probably rely on family (brothers sisters or even parents) to help support because you can't get by paying bills and installments. In the end, you turn to a money deprived monster who seemed greedy. What are you teaching your kid. How do they see you as a parent.
It's fine to just marry and not have a kid yet. Get a turtle. Or you could just live together and not marry yet. But if you want to include children in your life you better make sure you can support them fucking well.
If you're traditional and say, "oh~ no no no.. that can't do... i can't live with him unless I marry him". Then wait! Or if you have already had sex then fuck tradition. You are not a traditional person anymore.
If you think you're struggling with money right now.. Let's say a cashier who earns $500 a month with a administration/clerk who earns $800 a month.
Get by paying for rent, phone bills, electric & water bill, food, petrol. If you have so much money left then, your management is super brilliant you should share with everyone else. By all means, if you plan to have a kid then do so. You'll have to include clothes, diapers, milk formula, baby food, etc. A whole new crap to buy for the baby.
It's stupid, really stupid to marry and have like five kids and only then to realise you can't support them. What now. I read in the newpaper weeks ago, a mother sent her two daughters for prostitution to earn money.This was the first case of its kind heard of in this country too.
Stupid people populating the country and for some reason they're not learning from experience or history. Stupid generation being replaced with more stupidity. Ok, maybe there's a chance that a small percentage of those children are smarter than the rest. Let's hope the stupid ones perish, like soon.
