Forum Guidelines [Feb 16th, 2009]

Hi everyone!

I urge you all to quickly read these guidelines before posting on WL's forum. With this post I would like to teach you all a few steps, helping to keep this forum organized.

1. Speak English

Warrior Legends is played by people from all over the world. The majority of those people speak the universal language, English. In Warrior Legends' Mail (in-game) you may use whatever language you like.

2. Search before you post

I admit the tocomet forum search function still needs a lot of upgrading. You will probably not find an answer to your question using it. Until that is fixed, please browse the forum a little before you post something that has been posted before.

From now on I will delete all questions that are already in the FAQ (http://www.tocomet.com/post/84172/) without notice, locking and deleting takes a lot of time, because I have to check all posts twice, and have to copy/paste answers and so on.

I will still lock posts like the 58th post about the 'crop bug' or '502 gateway error', and give a brief explanation where to continue discussions. I hope this will not be necessary anymore now you have read these guidelines.

3. Use ‘tags’

The search engine on this forum only searches within the Tags of the topics, so when posting something on the forum, please give as many relevant tags as possible. Don’t forget to include 'Warrior' and 'Legends' in those tags.

4. Clear description

When you post a new message please describe your subject as clear as possible. For instance, if you have a question like: “How does my hero get experience points?”, don’t make the subject too general like “Help…”. Try to briefly describe the content of your post: “Hero experience question”.

It might be handy to use tags like [SUGGESTION], [BUG], [QUESTION], [GUIDE] so forum readers can instantly see what kind of post it is.

5. Details

Please be detailed whenever you post. Try to give as much information as you can in your question/answer.

6. Editing

I just found out we are able to edit posts! Here's the guide I wrote: http://blog.bitcomet.com/bitblog/post_84262/.

All these tips make moderating the forum a lot easier, and I hope you will stick by them. Thanks for reading, enjoy Warrior Legends!
