The BC 1.10 was the last good version for me.I try work with 1.11,1.12 and today with 1.13 but they have all disconnecting without any obviusly reason.Why?? Can anbody please tell me???

Not being able to slow each task below 10Kbs is really eating into my limit as I am counted on up & downloads

so will be dropping back to 1.11 or 1.12. Only downside I can see with this version

If you aren't willing to share what you download, you should find a different source for your downloads, such as joining a newsgroup, or using sites like rapidshare.

Bittorrent downloading requires all peers to share what they download, and I think this is a good thing that tasks cannot be limited below 10kB/s

Older versions of bitcomet did have chat integrated, but it wasn't that popular, so it was dropped.

Of course you could only chat with bitcomet peers.

I just updated to 1.13. Does anyone have the issue of having the port blocked, color yellow? I have tried to follow the same steps to open the ports I did before with the prior version of bitcomet, but unfortunately after doing all the steps, I keep being blocked. Please can anyone help me to understand what am I doing wrong? I have a Vista OS. I don't know what else to do after unblocking my firewalls, and opening the port on my modem.

...btw, my modem model is DSL 500B... I have already input the port number into it, it used to work just fine and have green light with Bitcomet 0.99. Now on 1.13 my light keep being yellow no matter how many times I try the steps to unblock it. Can anyone help me?

I dont think 1.13 is that stable every time my speeds get to a high download speed it gets an error and has to shut down something in the C++ or something like that , i like bitcomet a lot and wish the would fix all the bugs I am a gamer at heart and I dont have the money to go to the store and pay out 50 to 60 bucks for a game..

Its very likely you have a program running thats conflicting with bitcomet, like a webcam, or network tools that you don't even use. Cleaning up your process startup list usually stops these errors.

adding a peer should initiate a connection attempt, but if your friends client doesn't accept the connection, then it won't complete.

No, conventional bittorrent peers can be using any client, but that client cannot be choked (reached limit of max connections), or it won't accept the connection.

V1.13 is crashing every 1hr....and i got to restart my download....kudos to the awesome download speeds....but becoz of the crashing problems its getting a bit annoying....
