my status stays on" not logged in" no matter how many times I reboot or sign in... also my listening port stays on"unknown" even after I set it to "choose random port"

I am running my cable through a simple switch and all bitcomet programmes are high-lighted in my firewalls exceptions. My ISP insists that they do NOT block any ports,but I think that they do.Anyone out there that can help? I have tried all the favorite torrent downloaders(Vuze,Ares,bitlord,uTorrent,etc)and have even re-installed my operating system,but without any luck-I simply cannot get any port to open!Yet,when I installed Rainbow 6,punkbuster manages to open 2 ports without any problem.Is it possible that my ISP can and do block all torrent dowloader applications ?
