I find that it will freeze at first but if you leave it, it will get going again but this can take some time!

I have set up the firewall to allow the bitcomet, but the yellow light still on with the 0.92 version. And also my download rating is very low, always under 5kb/s. Can you tell me how to sort out thoes problems, please!

Warning !!! For all users that can`t unblock The Listen Port:For DSL or ADSL Connections types :

0.Download and install the last version of Bit Commet.

1.Go to Options in Bit Commet

2.Click Connection and Copy your Listen Port

3.Open Internet Explorer and type your Gateway there.Usualy in My Country (Romania)is 192.168.1.1 or (192.168.1.2) (without htttp ; or www... just the number of yours Default Gateway

4.You will see a little window with username and password.Put the username and pasword there to enter in your modem Settings.(If you dont have one,you must ask for that at your Internet Service Provider)[In my Country[Romania]]User is admin and Password is [the same]: admin

5.Click Basic Pop-Up,and select : Nat.Then,in the right pannel,click : Virtual Server.

6.Modify only this Fields:

Start Port Number

End Port Number

Start Port (Local)

End Port (Local)

7.With what ? Paste your Listen Port (wich i told you at step 2)from Bit Comet in all 4 fields.

8.Click Submit

9.Click on Tools in Left Panel,and select Reboot.

10.Select curent Settings and click Restart.

11.Close your Bit commet,and open-it again.

The green light from Listen Port will be turned on in about 15 seconds.

Go 2 preference in bitcomet click on task and change ur downloads 2 D/????,oh but first make a new folder in D (in explorer),example mine is in D/downloads, so thats what u would put in the tasks (in preference) under default destination folder. Hope this is ok,U can also move ur bitcomet program 2 D as this will give u more space.

this is for eddie28d & onlygary,ive just finished sorting the same problem out and its now all good.U need to put ur Lan address in 2 ur address bar and config ur router,first u need 2 know ur password $ user name,if not known ring ur broadband people & they will tell u this info.Hope this helps

the movie's audio format is probably in AC3. u need ac3 codec for that format. try google AC3 Filter.. :-D

hi i have got the same problem... I would queue up movies to download later on i'll download them 1 by 1... Now a minute ago i saw the entire movie list under all downloads but after i closed it and opened everything vanished and it brings me to some bit comet download file which has been paused and a adobe update. But when I delete them and open BC again it brings up the same file... When i check in the downloads folder there are the files and movies that are saying uncompleted download... does that mean all the downloads that i've downloaded has been waste...
