I thought I would share this with you in post form as I have had some very funny replies from you lot out there. I origionally just left this as a comment in your guestbooks and I feel you should all see each others views on this one! Funny and interesting.

 

 

1) Rev your engine at the lights

2) Burn your old fridge/freezer

3) Burn all your rubbish including plastics

4) Leave all your lights on, all the time

5) Don't recycle anything

6) Waste as much water as possible

7) Turn your heating up to 30 degrees C

8) Cut down more of the Rain Forest

9) Use gas heaters at the polls to melt the ice

And finally but by no means the least

10) Spread the word! Set an example!

Encourage your friends and family to take these steps towards a greener planet too!

Red ties, black ties, no tie. Mass confusion!  'Alright, everyone . let's line up for the picture. Let's see .... hmmm, where shall we ... oh, yes! Perfect! Everyone, please move quickly! Right over there, in front of the garage. Yes, that will be just smashing!' I guess a jacket at a wedding would just be too smart, so let's just pin these  buttonholes right on the white shirts. Bubba, put down that cigarette!  And no smoking during the ceremony! I told him it's tacky to light up during the sermon. If we could have put the wedding off for two more months, the groom would have saved enough money for a pair of black shoes.  I told him his tennis shoes have black trim....that's good enough.

He orders one hamburger, one order of French fries and one drink. The man un-wraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the French fries, dividing them into two piles in front of his wife. He takes a sip of his drink; his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering. You could tell what they were thinking “that poor old couple-all they can afford is one meal between them”.As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man says they are just fine-they are used to sharing everything.The surrounding people notice the little old lady hasn’t eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally takes turns sipping the drink. Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old lady says, “No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything”.

As the old man finishes and is wiping his mouth with a napkin, the young man comes over to the old lady, who has yet to eat a single bite of food and asks, “what is it  you are waiting for?” she answers …………..
