British singer-songwriter Kate Nash said the success of her first album has made life "exciting and confusing."

The 20-year-old's debut, "Made of Bricks," debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. charts in August, launching the hits "Foundations," "Mouthwash" and "Pumpkin Soup." It's just out in the United States and Nash sais she finds re-launching the album "nerve-wracking."

Police may face charges in Steve Holy case

DALLAS, Jan. 4 (UPI) --

Two Dallas police officers may face criminal charges for allegedly holding country music singer Steve Holy and a friend at gunpoint during a foosball game.

Investigators with the Dallas Police Department asked the district attorney to file misdemeanor deadly conduct charges against Officers Randy Anderson and Paul Loughridge, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Both officers were placed on administrative leave following the Dec. 27 incident, in which they allegedly threatened and assaulted Holy and his friend, Walter McRae, while drinking and playing foosball at Holy's home.......

No charges for Brandy in fatal car crash

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (UPI)

The Los Angeles City Attorney has decided not to file vehicular manslaughter charges against singer Brandy Norwood in connection with a 2006 car crash.

Norwood crashed her Land Rover into the back of a Honda driven by Awatef Aboudihaj, whose car then collided with a third vehicle before it was struck by a fourth motorist.

Aboudihaj, 38, subsequently died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Manson-Von Teese marriage ended

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (UPI)

U.S. shock rocker Marilyn Manson and burlesque performer Dita Von Teese are free to wed others, even though they are not yet officially divorced.

A judgment of divorce was entered in Los Angeles County Superior Court Thursday, ending the yearlong marriage of Heather R. Sweet and Brian H. Warner, known professionally as Von Teese and Manson, TMZ.com reported.

The former couple reserved the right, however, to work on the final terms of the agreement, the report said.

Manson, 37, has been dating 20-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood since he and Von Teese, 35, split up late last year.
