My plate is FULL with seasons seasons seasons! Not to menion some movies that may have passed me by in 2007. Here's whats on the agenda for this week (time allowing) :

Star Trek: The Next Generation season 1

The L Word season 1

Absolutely Fabulous season 1

WWE Royal Rumble 2008

August Rush

Prey

Curse of the Golden Flower

Return to House on Haunted Hill

The Bourne Ultimatum

I haven't seen The Bourne Supremecy yet, so I will probably hold off on the last one so as not to miss out on any plot. Of the list i'd say the Rumble is top priority, especially with Wrestlemania not far off. Any predictions?

I've got high hopes for Return to House, but direct to video hasn't had the

Just one quick annoyance at one of my fav animes: Cowboy Bebop the Movie Knockin on Heaven's Door. If the title contains one of the best Guns 'N Roses songs of all time in it, then why wasn't it the theme to the movie?!?! It would have been sweet to see a fade into the sunset to that song.

I'm about to reaquaint myself with Star Trek the Next Generation.

Season 1 to be exact. I'm by no means a huge Star Trek fan, but the series

Thanks Darkness, I watched Dude, Where's My Car and had a blast relearning some great catch phrases. I'm still not sure why "shibby" never caught on, I guess its more of an eye roller than I first thought. Birdhuda, Rocky Balboa is on the horizon. I appreciate the comments all.

Now on to the title subject. Guess I went up another rank in the bitcomet hierarchy. Say hello to Major Danro soldiers. Still haven't broken the 90k mark, but give it a bit o time.

Just finished watching Cloverfield....... again. I do want some opinions on this next bit o brain matter: I watched Cloverfield in the comfort of my own home, in the what is known as "cam" perspective. Now im not talking about how Cloverfield was shot, im talking about some guy recorded it on his camcorder and posted it. The only thing I walked away from this second viewing is that I will avoid cam torrents in the future at all costs. Seriously, nothing worth watching is worth watching......

risecomet

I did it, I finally did it! I broke into the top 100000 Bitcomet users. Thank you, thank you. And now that I traded in my old wireless internet for cable, that rank will only go up and up. My appologies to all whom I bump down in the process.

Now which to watch:

Rocky Balboa

Dude, Where's My Car?

Into the Wild

Across the Universe

Saw Cloverfield today. What an adrenaline rush! Its going to be one of those movies that the critics are going to shoot down, but I really hope that this does not keep people from seeing it because I guarantee you it will NOT be the same seeing it at home on your TV. Cloverfield was a total assault on the sense of hearing. The audio was incredible, the movie just came at you from all directions. This will probably be one of the only reviews to lack spoilers, and thats a good thing. Go see it people, and just have a great time.

Watched quite a few movies over the last couple of days: I Am Legend, Shoot 'Em Up, DOA Dead or Alive, Dodgeball, and Reno 911 Miami. A quick summary of them all: Legend was better than I thought it was going to be, but a bit short. Shoot was a blast, lots of great one liners. DOA had a weak story, im a bit disappointed. Dodgeball is a classic, INVOLUNTARY SPASM! Reno was like a long episode, even more reason to watch it.

This weekend will be the first time in a LONG time that I will actually head out to the theater to catch a movie, the movie being Cloverfield. What can I say, im a sucker for viral marketing. Lets just hope it lives up to the hype. For me it partially has, since im a Godzilla fan to the core. I'll keep you posted.

Its late, yet I want to watch I Am Legend. Can't say im the biggest Will Smith fan, but ive heard good things.

I wish I could find a torrent with the complete Cowboy Bebop. When I had them on UMD, it would cheer me up to watch it, and I could use it every now and then.

Balls of Fury was funny. Even though you KNEW how it would end, I still watched it through. Who cares if its not the most intelligent movie out there, sometimes an apple is just an apple.

Ok, so I made Captain on Bitcomet. Im not sure what privelidges come with my new rank, but im eager to find out. Anyone have any insight into the ranks with Bitcomet?

Also, im 98.7% done with the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Was never a big fan of Freddy, but being a fan of the genre, I want to be able to add them to my repetiour (sp?).

So browsing through torrents, I came across two old favorite movies of mine, which, happen to relate to my last post: horror. I found both The Evil Dead and Dead Alive. Such classics of the genre: both happened when what you could see on screen was more relaxed than today. Plus, Dead Alive is a good example of Peter Jackson's early work, and how a director doesn't have to be limited to just one type of work.

On a gaming note, I also came across HP Lovecraft's Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. This game will SCARE THE CRAP OUT OF YOU! I have loved every minute so far. If you've watched the movie Dagon, you'll get a bit of background on the game. I'll go more over it later.

Greetings Cometteers,

So my movie list recently hit 200 and now I find myself looking for the rare and obscure. For now id like to focus on the horror genre, a personal favorite. Any suggestions on some movies in this category that are readily available?
