BEST Torrent Search! Torrent Harvester!

Okay guys/ladies,

Let's start this off by saying I hate searching for elusive torrents. I hate waiting for those elusive torrents to download from a limited number of seeds. Well, I don't know what to do for that second problem yet other than throw on a bunch of random trackers on your tracker list.

HOWEVER, I have found a good answer to the first problem! Torrent Harvester 0.7b! It's a beautifully simple program that searches all sorts of torrent sites, TPB sites, and I think it even searches UDP sites too. Supposedly it can do way more than search torrent sites too. I'm not going to bother going through it all, I just wanted to get the word out that this program is the shit! For those of you that have 18-30 individual torrent search sites crammed into your favorites list, and who occasionally decide you're going to go and see if sites like TorrentPond are ever going to be worth your while, SAY FUCK IT! Get this......

The Magic Dick

A man is about to be sent to prison for 5 years and is currently out on bail. While out on bail, the man decides that since he's gonna be in the slammer, and he loves his girlfriend, he'll get her a little gift so that she will stay loyal to him and not go seeking another man.

The man wanders on down to the nearest adult toy store to buy his girlfriend a dildo.

Upon entering the store, he is greeted by the salesman "Hello, can I help you find something?"

The man says "Yes, I'm gonna be going away for awhile and I want to get my woman a dildo to keep herself busy in the meantime."

The sales man tells him "well, we have this large of selection of dildos in this case here, feel free to go through them and if you are interested in one, just let me know and I'll get it for you."

While going through the rather large selection of dildos, the man notices this magnificent looking box behind the clerk.

Hot Moose

A texas oil baron decides to take a trip up to Alaska for a few months to see how the oil business is done up there. He arrives in town to find that there are no women at all. 'Hmmm, these guys must get pretty horny but if they can stand it so can I', he thought.

Well his first night there he heads off to a bar with some of his new buddies. They have a few drinks when he notices a moose outside through the front window of the bar. One of his friends raises his hand and says "She's mine." He runs outside, has his way with the moose and comes back in to slaps on the back and congratulations from the other guys at the table. The oil baron is shocked but figures 'if that how things are done, who am I to judge?'

A few weeks later the exact same thing happens. They see a moose, one of the guys claims it, has his way with it and comes back to cheers.

A few months pass and our baron is feeling a bit randy. He heads out to the bar that evening with his friends as normal and has a......

TRACKER LIST SUPREME

Okay, for all of you that have read my Tracker List/Download Speed blog, here's a gift I got for ya from another fine BitTorrent brother. If you go this site: http://www.up3.cc/download/122147a5ef0bd5598.txt You'll see a bunch of Arabic writing. Don't let it throw you off, you are not signing up for Al Queda or something. Wait for the page to load and you will note a little timer that counts down from 10 right above the most obvious English words on the page that say "Trackers full.txt" After noting the little timer, wait for it to count down and you will see this Arabic text link show up where the timer was, and click it: ????? ?????

It's a redirect to download a text file with a HUGE list of trackers. Just remember, if you are running a slower computer or a slower net connection (I wouldn't try this list even if I had a 512kB/s download hook) you may experience some horrible......

Points System

Alright, the points system is a little confusing. I know that most people understand that you get points based on upload strength, and so that's all I know too. I am trying to figure out where the point on your blog page come from, and I plan to research it, but I don't have the time right now. Just know that the ranking points are the ones that really matter. For those, just continue to upload when you download a torrent. Or, I think you can get more by actually uploading a torrent of your own. I am yet to figure out the proper way to do that too. So, for any of you out there that know the correct way to do it let me know. Leave me a comment or let me know you have a blog concerning it. I am teaching myself everything I can about torrents, and need the help of others with a good teaching skill to work me through it. I'm not ignorant or stupid, so it's not hard to teach me! Tracker Listing/Download Speed

For those of you who are a little behind on how to speed your downloads, as I am, I have devised a simple method for you... and for the geeks out there that know a better way or knew about this already, give me some props, I figured this out on my own.

If you open your downloading torrent's "Properties..." option under the right click menu, you will notice a tab that says "Advanced." Click to that tab and at the top of the tab page you will notice a "Tracker List." These are the trackers that are mandating where you are uploading/downloading from. If you check out a couple of different files, you will undoubtedly notice a few different trackers (and some torrents come with quite a hefty list).

My method is simple. Copy that list and keep a text file record of tracker listings. I have done so myself. ......
