How do ya unblock listening port?

I only know how to search for music,pictures as my brother sets up bitcomet for me because I don't really understand how to set it up properly. How do I unblock my listening port? By the way I'm running bit comet v1.01

The Popular Software Update Check is not downloading for me can anyone tell me why and how to get round the problem.Im using Bitcomet V1.01,I've tried ticking and unticking Associate Bitcomet As Default Bittorrent Client but it's still not downloading.

I cannot watch videos

When I download videos,The soundtrack plays and I only get a Windows Media Player Visualization play it also says the video is a avi.Can someone please help and can they tell me how to get round it.Thanks

Cannot download to 100%

I cannot download up to 100% I can get between 99.0% and 99.9% then it stops even though it says it's downloading.I got bitcomet v1.03. Can someone help please.

I can only download torrents to 99.9%.I am using bitcomet v1.03 but have had the same trouble with v1.02, v1.01 and v1.00. Me brother fixed the problems before but he now lives 15 miles away. Can someone please help me.

I am okay downloading to 99.-%,i.e between 99.1 and 99.9% and stops downloading. There are seeds and peers,what can I do.I'm on v1.03 but also have had this problem on v1.02, v.01 and v1.00. Can someone help please.
