As you might imagine im very busy these days! after a 4 hr day at school I go to my work a university’s cafe. AT first it was a very overwhelming challenge since they threw me on the bench right away and let me take orders from the students and then put it in the machine. I take the order write it on a note and give to a other staff member, or when there is no one around I make it myself. and i have to mention i use the verry polite Japanese to the students since i work, but if they start to ask about me and ware im from i ofcorse drop the politenes and talk like a normal person fore my age..( in the limits of my Japanese :p )

Home baked bread and ice-cream seems to be the favourites since I make at least get orders fore 30 ice-cream every day.

although its tough I think its a very good experience fore me, I have mostly been a slacker until now but gradually I have turned to a work ant! wake up at 6:30 take the train from yokohama to......

The job hunt is over! The job hunt is over! I found a job I Japan!

As the headline say I finally fond a job! The last interview was a smash! Ok I’m going to slow down a bit and tell you about the day I had the interview.

The day of the interview started bad I was stressed as …. And as I arrived to the station I was going to switch from train to buss a phone call from a work agency came… they wanted to tell me about this geat job at a university… wile I was trying to explain in Japanese that I was going there already I fanatically searched fore my buss. When he finally understood it was not a mistake in my Japanese more that I was rely going there he apologized and I was on my way, he was kind enough to tell me the name of the bus stop (that I forgot In a few seconds since my memory is equitable chicken when I’m under stress) .

So I was at least on the right bus that’s a start, so I tried to ask the bus driver about the university,......

Jobhunting in japan!

So lets see allot has happen since my last post. first of i joined a work

agency. after one week without luck from them i went to a place called Hello work. Its the government that has organised a work agency fore foreigners in Shinjuku. There it was relatively easy to get in contact with a work to come to a interview. so i got my first interview! It was a big Chinese restaurant and it was ment fore me to become the dishwasher. but when i arrived happy fore the chance to work in a famous restaurant the manager told me we need someone how can work noon not night... well that was not so fun especially when it took me 1 day to prepare fore this interjuv it was over in 3 minutes... they had apparently wrote the wrong times at the note to the agency. Disappointed i went home.¨

When my gf arrived she cheered me up as only she can :) and then we

browsed the internet fore work. We found a work web page witch seemed promising so i applied fore a job at a university......

looking for job in Japan

I’m still in Japan I still study Japanese even tough I my class ended in march I decided to study 3 months more. Tandaima! I’m home!

After 4 very busy days in Kyoto and Osaka its nice to be home I must say it was a nice trip that both me and my G/f enjoyed.

I added some pictures of Kyoto fore everyone to see in my album.

I must tell you Kyoto was very nice fore a short stay, first day I visited 5 big temples and shrines. The second day was new years eve so we ate a expensive dinner at a “isakaya” (drinking place/restaurant). And since I love sashimi (raw fish carefully sliced) I ordered a big plate with 5 types of fish and some soy to dip it in. you may think this is strange but it tastes so good with soy so I must recommend everyone to try it some time. it’s a bit similar to sushi but you skip the rice.......

Going to Kyoto and Osaka

Living in japan

As I told you before I have lived here about 1,2 years and I thick I’m getting the hang on how to live in Japan.

I started fresh as you always do at first in a new country, with kids a eyes looking astonished by all things the wore different, commercial signs the size of building, shop owners screaming from all directions “-Irashaimeseee!” in different ways they seem fit, vending machines where ever when ever you feel like drinking something. And of course the language that was like from another planet with thousand of symbols any ware you look.

I was also quick to learn about the Japanese service and hospitality as I tried to find out ware I lived the first time. I got there but it took a few questions before I got to the right spot. Its not easy to find head or tails from the streets here I can promise you. About the service I can tell you that I never experienced anything like it any ware in the world......

Why i live in Japan

So what’s it like in the far far east?

I think I’m going to start telling you about me and why I ended up in Japan in the first place.

Well first of I’m Swedish and my interest fore Japan started at a young age, I guess sailor moon :p and other Japanese animations interested me when I was really young, but then the thing that really maid me more aware of Japan was Jujutsu(a form of budo like judo). I practiced fore about 5 years until my last year of high school. It was about that time I was introduced to Anime at a LAN party with my fiends.

Well you perhaps know how it is the first time you discover Anime, I was fascinated by the Japanese language and modern culture. And after meeeeny months of watching Anime. I began to look fore the alternative to study Japanese in Japan. So I packed my bags and went to Japan directly after high school after I found a easy way get here.

And here I am 1,5 years later :p still studding......

The new age?

So what’s up ? I wokeup start my computer start bitcomet and then I see that the program has some new score function.. Well I guess I will give it a try, right? Is this one of those soon to start web community’s and a new easy way to download my favourite stuff ?

Or just a new of those never used community’s that one of your friends push you to join every now and then . I guess time will tell but I guess I’m positive to the idea so far…

But the thing is I know I’m already sucked in to many of these good fore nothing sights that promise everything , like face book that I started to use regally. I don’t use it fore the reason I talk to my fiends to much , just that I know I can waste some time there practising my Japanese in a application, or send the occasional smiley or hug to my GF…

What’s up with me? Perhaps I feel that its time to start thinking about something else than the latest comment......
