Chäos;HEAd's story is set in the year of 2008 in Shibuya and is centered around Takumi Nishijō, an otaku, a high school student at the private Suimei Academy. Some strange events have recently occurred in the Shibuya area. The two main events being referenced by the media and the public at large are called the "New Generation" (ニュージェネレーション?) events. Inoue Kikoku (井上 喜久子) (her birth name is 井之上 喜久子, pronounced the same as her stage name) is a popular Japanese seiyū (voice actress) and singer born on September 25, 1964 (though she frequently says "I am 17 years old") in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
