Sorry I haven't been around lately. I've been really busy getting my kids stuff ready for school.  It's amaising how much stuff they need and how much money comes out of your pocket, not to mention your account.

My daughter is going into year 1 primary school, so she starts with a uniform this year. And my youngest is starting off Kindergarten 1.   I was shocked with the list of school supplies I was given for my daughter.  Not to mention the diabolical price for her uniform. All in all just for her uniform I spent something like 200 Euros. Anyways, for now the spending is done and I have to hem her skirts and trousers and name tag everything.  I also bought a uniform for my son. They don't really have to wear it in Kinder and it's just a t-shirt and shorts, but I just figured it will take out the hastle of choosing......

I've been watching quite a few movies lately and one left a really strange feeling of wonder and confusion at the end of it.  The movie is called "The Life Before Her Eyes".  If you've seen it already you might understand what I mean. If you haven't it's difficult to explain without giving away the movie.

The story starts out with the rebellious life of a teenage girl, Diane, and how she's always getting into some sort of trouble or other. Then a fateful day comes and something terrible happens while at school. A boy she knows goes crazy and decides to gun down most of the students and teachers.  Diane and her best friend get caught in the bathroom by this boy and a impossible decision has to be made, which of the 2 girls will live or die.  The story goes on to see Diane grown up and leading the life she hoped for.  Like everything, nothing's perfect, as she goes through day to day living the......

Recently I've been going through titles trying to find some decent movies to watch and a title came at me like a flashback to the 80's.

Hubby and I both grew up in the 80's ie 84 on to 92 is our era.  The movie I'm talking about is "Lost Boys 2".  Yes I know this is the recent one and no I haven't seen it yet, but it made me search in eager for the original "Lost Boys". I have yet to watch it again as I've just started the download for both of these, but looking through the clips and seeing the 80's heart-throbs, a whoosh of memories came pouring in.  My heart in those days belonged to River Phoenix.  Some of you might be saying "huh, who?"
