And like finally we have a maid in the house to help my mom out with the chores. And we had to get one that has no training whatsoever in doing anything and is just ONE freaking year younger than me - we don't really have that many choice in picking the ones we want. I liked the first one we got for a trial period. But my parents worry bout her sinus problem that we'll be paying more for the health bills than needed. Plus she talked a lot - more like asked too much. BUT SHE WAS GD AT HER JOBB

My brother's "every Thursday" work shirt. While ironing.

At one point didn't know how to clean the dishes properly. Cleaned the toilet and managed to wet a whole new roll of toilet tissue. For some reason, can't screw lids on containers tightly. And many others.

The only reason my mom took her in was cause she didnt talk much and didnt have any sort of health problem.

After reading the Twilight book. Yes. Twilight. And then New Moon.

It's too bad the movie didn't make it good enough for moviegoers to read the book.

Now why did I start reading the book..

Oh... I found a torrent 'audiobook'. I have never heard of it, but I suspected what it should be. So I just downloaded it to try it out. It meant I didn't need to read a book that I have to hold. All I had to do was listen to it and have the choice of doing it with the lights off.

I had the first 2 parts of the audiobook for Twilight. The 3rd was corrupted. 4th okay. 5th and 6th corrupted. 7th okay. 8th corrupted.

Of course, I was annoyed since the download was crap. But the story was interesting.

Imma put a quick post cause I have a feeling that I'll be busy for another week after today. 

I read the two comments from my last post. Just to briefly clarify. I have friends. Of course I do! They're countable to about.... 6? These friends I actually talk to and have actual conversations with and hang out. People who I almost never hang out with or talk to - I don't consider them as friend. They're just people I know and acknowledge their existence. If I ever see them around, I usually give a smile, nod and say 'hi'.

I used to be a social butterfly tho. But not anymore~

 MIA queen has appeared for a moment only to disappear eventually.

 I've been busy with my uni stuff. We've got a 3 week teaching block right now so we have lotsa stuff to write up. Like a journal - to make sure we're actually doing something while being attached in school. So I'll continue with that after this post.

I recently bought a Gateway comp. Seems like it's hard to get around here cos' everywhere I go, they say 'sold out'. Or maybe they just make it sound like they have a lot of buyers but when they only ordered 2 in stock. Or something like that. Manage to book myself that comp in a tiny shop no one bother going to cos' it's hard to find a parking there.

Usually I don't buy things only unless I find myself really wanting to buy more than just one or two items since it's expensive to ship one item over.

 Before I got it, I was skeptical about it. Went to youtube and watch videos on how you actually do it. Every video I found were the same and didn't explained the important point that I was more worried about.

I got a call from the uni regarding my offer during the day there was orientation. I also didn't know about it until a colleague of mine asked where I was. Next day, I skipped a day of teaching just to settle all the Uni troubles from 8.30am and finally finished at 3pm. How shit was that.

All my classes are only in the afternoons, so i get to sleep late. Yey-ness~

And I was planning to buy a guitar and learn it too =(

I'll wait until next week when I have the timetable and everything else settled to see if I can do guitar lessons without it interfering too much with my course.

I've been sooooo busy. Even my mom only see my body zoom by for a second in the house to see me leave and not come back home til late night when she's already asleep.

Remember the company I was talking to you about in the last post that I really wanted. A couple of my friends and I were doing plans to act as shareholders. We're not actually buying the company. Only the assets. So we've been around with our advisor to the auditor, to see the place, to meet with the part-time employee, to the banks.

Mind you we're all nubby (noob/newbie) human beings when it comes to setting all this up. So we needed an advisor to give us the process and we'll learn ourselves and do it. Days of running around and meeting people and setting up meetings and discussions.. Our advisor said the previous buyer just went unannounced and paid the remaining sum of the money to the owner. My friends are interested in being shareholders but we still don't know anyone else we can trust to manage the place. I am the only 'free' candidate as the others still needs to go overseas for studies. There is a small problem with managing since I have no background whatsoever on such skills.

I have nothing to fall back on if I leave my stable current job.

I wont be offered such job that I have right now.

I am a 'jack of all trade',therefore, it will be hard for someone to hire me.

I was usually afraid of cat nails and bites. But since she was tiny I had no problem with her nibbling on me or catching my finger. She likes to lick my fingers too. Exfoliate my skin haha... Cats have rough tongues like sandpaper.

Only last night, she was constantly sneezing and even sneezed in my face when I was sleeping. Today she looked miserable and sleepy so I brought her to the vet. I worry that her new owners wouldn't want to bring her to the vet since it'll be costly. The vet gave meds for her and she actually stopped sneezing. Though she still need to eat them for a week.

I'm looking into some names for a possible online shop for um Japanese clothing accessories. Like those wild ones because I lovee but cant wear~ *heartbreaking* Like visual kei and harajuku styles.

The one name that's stuck in my head now is 'turtlesoup' because it seems catchy, unisex and it was my boyfriend's username. Only problem is that it has nothing to do with what I'm selling. Neither does it have anything to do with Japan. Catch phrase wud be 'be different'. xD that is soooo original haha

Swine flu still around and about but I don't think it's so bad. I mean, it affects especially those who have some sort of complications and with swine flu = deadly.

I went to Singapore on the 9th July, just last week. That night when I was there, my boyfriend and I went for supper somewhere in Orchard. On our way back crossing the traffic lights, about 10 meters away from behind two taxi cars crashed at the intersection. Loud BANG! so I turned around to see what happened. Yellow taxi hit the traffic light right in the middle and the radiator water was leaking like a waterfall under the car. The blue taxi ran over this short phallic thing at the sidewalk and slowed down somewhere in the park. The people in the yellow taxi showed movement first. A few pedestrians walked towards the blue taxi to see if everyone was fine since no one was moving......

Found a cat in school this morning. Brought it home and fed it and waiting for the animal shelter to inform me when someone wants to adopt it.

Look it so tiny compared to mah dad's shoe.   Cat. Got caught having an affair with the porceline frog.

Owner was being a nuisence and took their picture......

I dont think the winner is that pretty but I admit she's got flawless skin. Ah well.. fair never works in places you see. By the way.. that's me in the picture.

I know I haven't updated for quite some time. I've been sick on and off. Viral infection~ So if I'm not sleeping day and night, I'm out for work or play xD But sleep most.

Recently, I tagged along with a couple of friend to do surveying for a land he bought. They showed me how to set up the tripod and look through the lens aiming at the prism. I'm pro now.. haha.. Kidding.. It was fun though.

This occassion was held at a friend's house because Rue was leaving for his studies since the holiday is almost over. Since we started late, each of us had a shot of Chivas. There was karaoke sessions where the girls crowd around and sang. Smokers would go out of the house to smoke and come back in. Someone totalled everything up and he had around 4 shots of chivas, few cans of beer......

Jig is not really a big fan of drinking but since he studied overseas, his tolerance has improved significantly from getting high over a can of shandy to getting high over a few cans of beer. I casually told him, if you don't want to drink so much, might as well put water in one of those can so least it won't be as bad. Who knew he kept refilling it from time to time. That got him into trouble when one of the guys spotted it. So they made him take seconds of chivas. Like take 3seconds of chivas (pouring into the mouth) with a few of the guys. I think he had around 30seconds altogether.......

As usual, I'm lazy and it doesn't seem promising that I will update anything from my brother's wedding. Typical xD

That aside, just finished my meeting today. Seriously, one of my friend. She kept insisting for us all to pick the accessories together. Then what is the use of a meeting of we just do the work together for her. And she had the nerve to threaten to leave the group. But I just kept it at that and didn't provoke her any further otherwise, our friendship goes down the toilet too. Everything else was fine after anyway.

So here's a brief one minute vlog about the night.

Wedding Dinner ceremony tonight <3

mmm... oh! I'll tell u what happened yesterday with the signing ceremony. Just the interesting part. So that'll just be the blunder part. Heh heh heh

Brother came home from work and had a quick lunch. Took our his white buttoned up shirt to iron it. Apparently, the iron was hot enough to burn the stitching at the back of the shirt. So u could see black bits. He turned down the temperature after that. Gd thing it didn't burn like the imprint of the iron.

Anyway.. He showered and shaved. Cut himself and used tissue to clot it up faster. He wore his shirt and I was picking a tie. Then he proceeded to pull off the tissue off his face and dabbed to make sure it wasn't bleeding anymore. He pulled up his collar and pulled down the tie. When he turned the collar back down xD there was spots of blood and he went, 'Arrghghghhh!'. I tried just dabbing......

Dad: Dont touch the railings, i'm painting them.

Me: It's only the top half I see..

Dad: Yea

Me: What happens if I trip? (stepping on newspapers strategically placed on the floor)

Dad: If you trip then fall. Just dont hold on to the railings.

Lots have been happening lately and I did mention that I was gona be busy for this month especially. The last 'busy' would be my brother's wedding coming up this saturday and sunday.

Thank gawd we're  used to arguing with each other. So when we had any disagreement during the meeting we'd argue til it's solved and after that it's like as if nothing happened. Good stuff I tell you.

Brief information update on it. Since we're all girls, and what we do would have to be something that we know about. We have decided on selling girly accessories only. So that means, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, ring, headbands, etc. Ya know what I mean~ Currently, we've found a wholesaler, but now it's the 'marketing' (2 of my friends) side......

I'm backk~~ =D IELTS sucks. The time they give is just enuf to put a fullstop at the end of your final word. No time for checks at all. Even though I scan through the reading fast or just write without thinking if it's related to the topic or not in writing. =.=

This one point during the listening I completely missed 4 questions in a row. *mouthed the word 'fuck' at my desk i did* Didn't have a choice so i guessed the words that would fit in there.

They should give like 15mins extra time yo.

oh.. for speaking.. it was nerve wrecking. I forgot words. I said a lot of 'so' and um in each sentence. The topic for me was generally about swimming pool, uniforms, formal and informal clothes and a 2 minute talk on a favourite dress i wore for an occassion. =.= Of all things.. i was ready for like VIEWS man.... like 'do you think teachers should be paid more and why'. Sadly,......

Happy Mother's Day

Now, I'll start with the gloomy family politics I find rather stupid. And all this fake happy together front annoys me.

Setting:

The neighbourhood I live in are mostly occupied by my aunts and uncles. And the other houses not occupied by us, belongs to us and are being rented out to other people. It's not a big neighbourhood. Don't exaggerate the story in your head. There are still a few houses around that belongs to other people.

I live on a two storey house. Upstairs. My cousin (2nd uncle) lives downstairs. Someone is renting a house on the left that belongs to my dad. Another family bought the house on the right that belonged to my eldest aunt. She lives opposite our house. Another cousin of mine (4th uncle) lives on her right. And 2 houses in front of theirs. One (for rent) belongs to them (4th uncle) and the other house (for rent) belongs to my cousin (2nd uncle) who lives downstairs.

Oh! It was in the newspaper today, there were 2 passangers from UK on a flight here whom were infected which what seemed to be the swine flu but they're not too sure yet. Basically, all 200 passangers......
