On one of web-based chats, i happen to meet a lovely girl. It was a romantic chat and went on very well. Slowly she revealed that it is not "her" but "him", chatting from somewhere near mysore andd looking out for a girl to chat. I went red for moment, but then again calmed down and thought of suggesting him somee websites where he could go and actually chat and also suggested him to pose as a male. He quickly sent his e-mail id, that suddenly made me do something involuntarily. I told him "it is difficult to trust you guys these day, donno what you blast somwhere and we get caught!" and immeediately logged off before he responded.

Whole world knows about the Satyam`s financial fraud. The other day, when this was real hot news in the media, mails etc.. i overheard over my cup of tea, somebody saying "at least he is honest enough to declare the Fraud; such a good man".

For a moment I was shocked and thoughtless. Are we moving towards an age where such "confessions" are forgiven and future heros are confessed criminals. There may be million reasons behind him to tell so, but crime is a crime and i think we should never compromise on the term "a good man".
