Machine code? !ôô! (Pay attention now!) Your sound card has a Chip on it that is programed with at least 64 instruments, (most have 128) that can play a programed list of notes! (mid, midi for you.) this list of notes is a small file, but can play for longer times. Average MP3 20MB.x3 min. (7 instruments band, on stage live recording.) Average MID 640kb.x5min. (56 Instruments, digital machine engine.)
