Funny how our government can sit on pertinent issues for years and not move, but they can come together quickly and act when their pockets are lined and the lobbyists are active. Members of Congress have come up with and signed on to a bill called Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA) and it will effectively destroy the Internet if passed.

I know what you are thinking, "well some content on the Internet should be censored." In some respects I do agree with that statement, but that is a slippery slope and I don't want the government making that call for any of us. The COICA bill would create two blacklists......

During a climate change conference in Chicago over the weekend, one geologist presented his case that global warming is over but global cooling could be the new concern for the next two to three decades because it's much worse than global warming.

In January, Digital Journal reported that Mojib Latif, a professor at the Leibniz Institute at Germany’s Kiel University and a scientist involved in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), said the Earth could go through a “mini ice age” over the next 20 to 30 years.

Anonymous hacktivists say Wikileaks war to continue 

A member of the Anonymous group of hackers, which has been targeting firms it sees as being anti-Wikileaks has said the campaign is not over.

Speaking on the BBC's Today programme, Coldblood said that "more and more people are downloading the voluntary botnet tool".
