Global max upload rate

If you use your maximum upload speed, there won’t be not enough left for the files you are downloading. So you have to limit your upload speed.

This is how you should calculate your optimal upload speed:

upload speed * 70% > 10kB/s /// upload speed * 80% > 10kB/s if you don't use LT seeds

LT seeds: upload speed * 10% > 10kB/s /// disabled if you want to use only bittorrent.

Global max download rate

Setting your global maximum download speed to unlimited will hurt your connection. So use this to calculate your optimal setting.

download speed * 90%

Bittorrent.max_connections_per_task(advanced)

upload speed * 1.3
