Life goes round
season comes season goes
The endless autumn wind again blows
with its heavy sheets of rain.
The soft petals of the manifold coloured flowers
and the browning leaves are wind showered
on the ground below and are trampled
under the feet of people rushing by.
The trees look grey and wet,
the morning sun unsmiling and sad
People passing by, as the days go by.
All morning, my thoughts were awandering.
Into the rain, with dazed wet-eyes I sit gazing
at the scattered leaves, some wind adrifting,
wondering what the future is holding.
Past memories come flashing
as I sit alone dreaming recalling,
not knowing my own mixed feelings
and hearing my favorite song playing.
Deep within my being
I hear myself silently crying,
feeling warm tears slowly trickling
and my heart overwhelmed with longing.
Withholding tears from flowing
and drowning me with a sad longing,
I find my distressed soul within breaking.
Inside me are found
Thoughts and memories come lingering
soon regrets and pasts are aflooding
then emotions strong and heavy pressing in
its currents swift and forceful rushing in
my mind and heart laden and confusing
deep inside there is an outcrying
a yearning and a longing
Wake up! o my soul!
for within each challenge is a higher offering.
Although hidden from view,
we must raise our thinking,
and open our hearts,
and recognize that we’re being...
called to a new dimension in life,
called to greater heights, a higher calling,
a higher purpose and fulfilment.
Unfamiliarity and new paths
can be frightening.
But what is life?
if not a journey
into the wondrous unknown
Look around....
grace and beauty can be found
It is fear that keeps us trapped and blind
Your cage is the condition of your mind
Even pain and sorrow
has a purpose in life
Through pain and sorrow in child-bearing,
if she continues in faith,
love and holiness with self-control.
Not easy to put the past behind
Look what the future holds for you
With God’s help,
you can do almost anything,
including overcoming your fears and pain.
Is this a fantasy?
No. it’s found in God’s promises.
Let me take over, says the Lord.
Feel powerless before Me and
You’ll find true happiness,
and feel very secured
Only in Me..can you find
true freedom and friendship
Inside everybody a void
a need to be filled
Whoever is thirsty come to Me
and you'll find living water
Reach out, grasp hold and don’t let go
