For novice or those who do not know these steps:
1. Do not do if your ISP regarding the maximum upload speed of your line. Better check with a test (http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/) and then limits the upload speed of your client BIttorrent to 80% more or less than the actual speed upload your line.
2. If you use Windows XP SP2 you must know that you are limited to 10 TCP connections that can be made in a short space of time, so that the program takes a while to connect to the seeds and peers. If you are an impatient, uses a patch
http://www.lvllord.de/ and uses the range between 50 and 100.
3. With regard to the relationship that should exist between seeds and customers, no one seems to have it defined. Can we clarify?
4. Change the default port of BitTorrent. Suppliers often have limited, what not to saturate lines, the ports used, ie from 6881 to 6999. Go tested with other ranges and choose the best results you ofreca. The new versions of Bitcomet is not necessary since it uses port listening for arrivals and departures.
5. If you want to have a firewall, be sure to configure correctly. Anyone who comes with Windows may valerte if you allow incoming connections to your program bittorrent. This is done by adding an exception in the firewall.
As we pass everybody, you have doubts, if so, what type your question and commented.
A big hug to everybody and that would help.
