We have the world in our hands

There is no doubt that the world is becoming increasingly poor, climate change something that a few years ago we sounded strange, it becomes increasingly present.

The future of the planet if it continues like this.

What are the countries?

Many countries have adopted a package of measures to address climate change, including plans to cut CO2 emissions and promote the use of renewable energy and biofuels. Curiously the most developed countries are more limited in action.

The biggest drawback of these measures is that we see an increase in the price of electric power, gas, transportation, ... and more ...
So the worker is the one who actually pays for these changes. While the main culprits of these companies continue to enrich their bank accounts.
We are undertaking other initiatives such as Volkswagen, which model to buy a Polo Blue Motion is committed to plant 17 trees. Go adversity, ie if you sell helped save the world, go hypocrisy. They sell cars that pollute years and have never done anything on the planet.

Many firms receiving large sums of money from their governments at the moment as grants and they are committed to change their industry to pollute less. It already gives me laugh, I think that any industry that pollutes must be forced to change and not be people who grants these changes.
Of course we want a blue planet.

But the polluter or it has contaminated pay, and very very very expensive.
Finally, a question arises ...
What people can do to improve the climate of the world?

The simplest of thinking is that the human race disappeared. But we are selfish, narcissistic, destructive ... And more qualifiers that not even worth commenting on. And we are all so hypocritical to say that we love our world, I do not exclude.

Of course there are very good people who care, but few, very few.

So I ask you, we can do to have a better world?

Since my coast in northwestern Spain, a hug everyone.

hello buddy i partially agree with you but transportation is not the only cause... the way how electricity is being generated is a also of a huge concern......

In that manner i pity my country for being one of the largest contributors of pollution(by generating elec by coal).... we should look forward for a sustainable development of each and every nation.... i think i can help you on this by providing more info on alternative sources of fuels... am currently working on this project i would also like to hear from you so that we are mutually benefited.....

I come from the northwest coast of Spain, a place other than the rest of my country, for its culture. I can tell you that for some 10 years I have seen the mountains where the wind blows has been filling of wind mills as an alternative to electricity generation. And now there is a law which require that each new home will lead to a portion of the roof solar panels for use by the community. The wind mills have the disadvantage of leaving devastated the area in which they are, kilometers and kilometers without trees. The solar panels have the disadvantage of high cost and more if one takes into account that I live in the area that more rains throughout Spain.

we can use hydrogen as a fuel, its one of the best ways by which don't contribute to pollution... but this method is not that easy... we actually produce this h2 by the electrolysis of water....this produces a lot of complexities...

well this is a very nice topic u have posted here

well we have a car, a two wheeler, we use electricity also and many other things

but only when needed

i try to do whatever i can to lessen the pollution

and to be true i am waiting for the day when such resources that cause pollution just exhaust - then at least there wont be more pollution - and i hope that day the whole world will be only one place - no countries, no casts, only life and also hopefully no war

Very few ppl know that the world can be changed. Even by the smallest person...

If you want polluters look over the sea. You'll find a land "of the free" (USA), that is the most pollution emitting country in the world. An the only one that spitted on the Kyoto protocol.

Cheers!

Caladier Thu Mar 27, 08 06:59 PM

Bush prefers to spend on a war to save nature. It's clear the position of the USA are the main polluters of the world but is against the Kyoto Protocol, is a pity.

I sugest we get a bicycle and move our ass to catch some fresh air instead of going everywere by car .

The most important is not to produce much rubbish -now everything in shops is in plastic - everybody throw it away insted of recycling it.

PLANT A TREES - many trees. Do not cut them to make a fire or just because we don't like them.

Let's not be selfish ignorants - buy only as much as U need (mainly food) because if we buy more than we need we throw it away and we waste product and money.

Do not use to much electricity - do not leave the lights on when U leave the room ( many ways to reduce electricity consumption) because to make the VOLTs we need to burn coal and this is the most harmful for environment

These are only few ideas - it all depends on us - We just have to change a little bit and look for other solutions

At the end boils down to that we are animals usual, dejansko if we want to do something positive must be done from the bottom up, children today must learn at home and at school from a young age how important it is to nature. So that when they are older they are accustomed to respect.

Just cought your post. Right on. Saturday was earthday here in Canada. It's the Second year that all Canadians were challanged to shut or unplug everything electric and not drive or use any energy of any kind for one hour. I ran from 8 to 9PM. Of course every household in Canada was allowed on telivision on because this was the same time as "Hockey Night In Canada" number one program up here and no one would do it if we had to miss it.LOL I don't know the resuls from the energy usage yet. I imagine we'll find out tomorrow. I'll keep you up to date.

Well the results are in. Between 8 and 9 PM Ontario's hydro electricty demand fell by just over 5% and more specifically in Toronto, our largest city, it fell bt 8.9%. The worst results came from British Columbia where it only dropped by 2%. Many local residents say the low percesnt is due to the amount of people that are allways thinking green so there was less of an impact overall. They sugest that we should start measuring demand per 100,000 thousand residents. I'm sure Ontario would argue. But anyway non of that was the point. We know that one hour per year wont do anything for the planet, it's about awarness and habit breaking. While I resurched this I was trully dienharted when I saw how many people out there were advocating using as much energy as possible durring the exact same hour. The so called "climat change deniers" To them I say, your entitled to be ignorent and disalusioned but whats the point of trying to counter our efforts. Eaven if we are wrong (witch we're not) it certanly can't hurt. Thanks again for this post. Do you mind if post a link from my blog?
