Estimados miembros,
Dada la casi nula atencion que el Equipo de Desarrolladores de BitComet estan ofreciendo a todos sus miembros y compañeros (incluyendo, nosotros, los del Equipo de Soporte) – quienes no hablan chino – lamento tener que comunicarles que el futuro del los actuales “Foros” (los de Español, Frances e Ingles), pende de un finisimo hilo, por lo que se ve.
Con esto, me refiero a que a ningun miembro del viejo foro se le han otorgado ni el cargo que originalmente tenia, no se han establecido ni los foros originales (que estaban en ingles), ni sus Sub-Foros (Español y Frances) – tal y como se habia prometido.
Todas las Guias y Tutoriales (en cualquier idioma) parecen haber “desaparecido”, durante la transferencia a la nueva pagina. A los miembros les cuesta muchisimo mas encontrar cualquier tema, ya que se han aglomerado todos los idiomas y todos los temas, en una misma pagina (sin clasificacion alguna) – una verdadera “torre de Babel” - donde, libremente, se intercalan con publicidad y temas que nada tienen que ver con BitComet…. Y sin decir nada de los muchos problemas tecnicos, que nadie parece haberse molestado en probar ni corregir… en total, que si en el antiguo foro, el servidor se venía abajo con frecuencia, en este – aunque, de momento, aparenta ser mas estable – nadie ha comprobado que las funciones mas basicas (edicion de los propios posts/comentarios, etc.) funcionen correctamente.
En esencia, la “nueva” web (que, en realidad no es “nueva”, en absoluto) se aproxima mas a un “mercadillo de fin de semana”, que a un foro especificamente diseñado para poder aportar Soporte Tecnico, Guias y, si, hasta un “rinconcito social” (lo teniamos planificado y medio montado ya, en el Foro Español y en el Frances), donde podriamos hablar, tranquilamente, de cualquier cosa.
Es una lastima que todo el esfuerzo y trabajo que ha dedicado el Equipo de Soporte (de los antiguos foros), durante los ultimos años, haya dejado un mal sabor de boca, al ver que la comunicacion entre el Equipo de Desarrolladores (ubicados en China) con el resto del mundo occidental haya cesado completamente, ignorando cualquier intento por nuestra parte, en continuar y reestablecer la misma.

Given the almost nul attention that the BitComet Developing Team is offering all of its members and colleagues (including, we, the Support Team) – who do not speak Chinese – I am sorry to say that the future of the actual “Forums” (Spanish, French and English), are hanging by a very thin thread, so it seems.
By this, I am referring to the fact that no one member from the old forum has been given even the status that they originally had, the original forums (which were in English) have not been set up, nor their sub-forums (Spanish and French) – as had been promised.
All of the Guides and Tutorials (in any language) seem to have “disappeared” during the transfer to the new site. Members find it a lot harder to find any specific topic, as all the languages and topics have been merged into one single/continuous page (without any classification whatsoever) – a veritable “Tower of Babel” – where they are freely intertwined with publicity and other topics that have nothing at all to do with BitComet… To say nothing of the many technical problems, that nobody has apparently bothered to check nor correct… in essence, if, at the old forum, the server went down frequently, in this one – although, for the moment, appears to be a bit more stable – nobody has checked that the most basic of functions (the editing of one’s own posts/comments, etc.) work correctly.
In essence, the “new” site (which, in reality, is not “new” at all) is more akin a “weekend flea market”, than to a forum that is specifically designed to be able to provide Technical Support, Guides and, yes, even a little “social corner” (we already had it planned and half setup, in the Spanish and French forums), where we would be able to leisurely talk about anything.
It’s a shame that all of the effort and work that the Support Team (from the old forums) has dedicated, during the last few years, has left a “bad taste in our mouths”, after seeing that the communication between the Developing Team (in China) with the rest of the Occidental/Western world has ceased completely, ignoring any attempt on our behalf, in continuing and re-establishing the same.

PS – Please excuse the lack of “tildes” in this post… another flaw of the “new” forum is that it doesn’t permit any type of “accent”…
