Not really sure what it is you specifically need help with but ...
you can edit a lot of your page by clicking..
customise > modules > custom modules
If you open a second browser tab a search for hmtl codes then look for say a code to add an image, then all u will have to do is add the url for the image between the "". A lot of elements you search for will come with their own embed codes, In which case just copy and paste the full code into the custom mod box.
Remember you have to give every custom mod a title too but dw it will remind you =P
It might be an idea to start researching and learning about CSS/html codes. I have been teaching myself and am just getting to grips with it with help of friends i have made through blogging. if you have any questions or need help with anything specifically, feel free the leave me a message on my blog. I may take a day or two to reply but i always reply.
