I just tried to update the maps in my Garmin Nuvi 660 on the Garmin website, and they wanted $69.00 to do it. So I went hunting for a map update in the torrents and came across one that really works, I now have installed the Garmin Mapsource City Navigator North America NT 2009. I followed the download instructions, and they worked like a charm the first time.
