Duncan Edwards was the eighth United player to lose his life when he died in hospital on 21 February as a result of internal injuries.
Edwards was only 21 years old and had already played for United 151 times, scoring 20 goals. He had also won 18 England caps, scoring five times, after making his debut aged just 18.
The midfielder was a shining light for club and country. England and United legend Bobby Charlton said Edwards "was the only player that made me feel inferior".
He is commemorated in his home-town of Dudley by a stained glass window in St Francis's church and a statue in the town centre.
