Today Deimos, main admin for demonoid, decided to pass the torch off to a close friend of his, stating he has too many real world distractions right now to try and bring demonoid back. Back in November 2007 demonoid was forced to shut down because of legal threats from the CIRA, and Deimos has been trying really hard to find another host country but could no longer find time to deal with his personal life and the pressures of trying to run demonoid. So he passes the torch on to a close friend of his and has faith that he can bring demonoid back to its former glory.This news comes after demonoid suddenly began to breath life again. About a month ago, The tracker started to respond again bringing hope to millions of people. This is truly a sad day for the torrent world, But a great one too. It should not be too much longer before demonoid is back! Thank you Deimos for all you have done, you built the best torrent site and community that a pirate could ask for! Farewell, you will be missed.
