If you visit my blog then please... read this post!

So... I asked a lot of people about the problem I will tell you in the following lines, but nobody gives me a complete and satisfactory answer.

If, hypothetical, I have a big score... a huge one. What is the advantage?... because I think it must be at least one. So, supposing that I reached the title of COLONEL. What advantages I have toward a user who is only PRIVATE? Can I download faster than him or what are the advantages I have toward him?

If you know something about this please, give a comment and explain me.

Cheers!

..cont'd from your earlier post.

By saying more resources I really mean more speed.

Resources in BC is p2sp (or Long-Time Seed). The p2sp is a unique mechanism in BC which allows you to download continuously from any server if no normal p2p connections is alive. Of course it works even there is p2p connected.

In here stated clearly bout resources.

Recruit = 41 max resources, whereas

Marshal = 56. (Which will look like nothing much)

But it's better than nothing.

From here applies the rule of thumb:

more connection = more speed.

If you have a higher score, BitComet will give you better seeders (peers who give you the information you are downloading) and you will get higher download speeds.

Score = increases when you upload to other peers on BitComet. Maximum score per day is 120 possible...100 points from uploading and 20 points from being online (2 points per hour).

Rank = decreases as your score goes up. The goal is to become a Marshall. The lower your number for your rank, the higher your status is on BitComet.

Points = earned through making posts on your blog page (2 points), commenting in someone's Guestbook or post or replying to a comment in your own Guestbook or post (1 point), playing the games on BitComet (1 point per correct answer).

The following link is to a post which explains most of what I just said. It is a very helpful post and shows how you move up in rank and how many resources you get as your rank gets higher.

Umm Zoey, you might wanna remove that in the future:

Commenting in guestbook does not give any point you know. Only comment/reply a post does.

(correct me if i'm wrong)

Actually, commenting in GuestBooks use to earn a point per comment, but the site has a lot of things that aren't working correctly right now. Unfortunately, the points for leaving comments in GuestBooks is one of those things.
