Where is the Virus

For the past one or two days the threat of virus seems to have disappeared from our blogs, now even google search is not mentioning about any threat from this site, does that mean that we should rest easy, NO it certainly does not, because if the virus can enter the central server of Bitcomet (I presume) then it can do so again.

I have been observing strange behaviour of my browser whenever I am on this site, I am using both IE 8 and Firefox 3 Beta 5.

The page scrolls slowly and I cant seem to customise my page, it takes ages to do so and I cant change the background and other stuff. I dont know whether it is happening to me only or to any one else out there.

I am also getting an advertising widget on my css editor, the ad is from a site called xiti.com, I dont know whether it has been inserted by the webmasters or it is a sort of malware, furthermore this is only appearing in Firefox and not in IE.

When I open the CSS editor, it opens but I cant see any of the controls, they appear once and then they disappear, so I can't  upload any new pics for my background, or the modules.

Please contact me if anyone is observing strange behaviour on these blogs.

yer just recently its slow mate...plus google and bit seem to working ok but my problem or opinion is that some over moding is going on and the stuff used is not always from safe source,s and resulting in things getting in thru the way of back door...like picture,s used and widgets on pages....i had a widget and the page from where it came was no longer there so the widget didn,t work...but it could of been away of load nasty stuff in to one,s page and bitcomet...

but this is only my opinion....

IE 7 and Mcafee is what i use if this helps..

all the best wish,s to you.......

take care
