Hi, I'm completely new to bitcomet and torrents in general. Newbie extrodinaire!! Yesterday was my first day and I got very good results downloading a tv show. However it died out on me after a couple of hours and I got a grey light. Today it's even slower and I have a yello light and IP 66.67.109.224 is blocked. I've tried turning off the firewall to no avail. Please hlep. I don't know what other info is needed for you so let me know. Thanks

it is in bicomet.. just go to option & connection,.. there you can see your list port!!

DID YOU TRY TO DISABLE YOUR FIREWALL? OR IF YOU HAVE A SOFTWARE FIREWALL.. SOME FIREWALL BLOCKS YOUR PORT...

What is this "lest port"? I only have Listen port which might be the closest, and the yellow light part says "Blocked" Your listen port is blocked blablabla.

Please advise what I should do.

ITS IS A PROTOCOL.. THERE TYPE OF PORT Registered Ports, and the Dynamic and Private Ports. WHEN YOUR BITCOMET LIST PORT HAS BEN BLOCK.. MEANS THAT LIST PORT CONNAT CONENCT SERVER .. TO SEE YOUR LIST PORT.. GO TO BITCOMET,OPTION CONNECTION

hey jake

i'm using xp sp2

i have change the tcp/ip from 10 to 500

and when i restarted my comp

my net conn.. is not being activated

i'm using broadband 256 kbps

when it comes to the step of 'registering ur sys on network' , it says "ur tcp/ip settings donot match with the server"

and this is permenant

i cannot reconnect

please help

If you still got the yellow light.. try to disable the firewall,, I got wan port when i disable firewall.. Guys there way to speed up your download when you using xp sp2.. you see guys xp sp2 has a limited tcp-ip .. sp2 has only 10 tcp-ip.. you have to chage that to 500… to order to change that you need a pacth
