To change your background and other things on your page, first click the 'Custom Style' button at the extreme top right of your page. You don't need any HTML skills to do this either. If you have pictures on your computer all you need to do is 'Browse' and 'Upload' them into the corresponding background boxes. If you don't have any pictures you would like to use, then you could use Google images to find something that would work for you. You would have to save the image to your computer first to be able to upload it to your page though.
