Oh, and regarding "the abuse they suffer at the hands of their peers", that point had came up as a point of concern in this kind of family, but denying them their basic human right to be parents just because they are a minority and they should fear the rejection of the majority is not by far an acceptable argument...social resistance to change will always be there, but that can not stop society from advancing...black people, women, indians, islamics, they all had been rejected or are rejected, and they have stand for their rights regardless of that resistance...it is the same for gay and lesbian people and their right to have children if they want to...
