To increase the download speed, one of the effective methods is Router Port Forwarding. Below is the common setting for port forwarding.

Procedures (Reference Type : D-Link DI-524)

1. Enabled the new Virtual Server setting.
2. Type your setting name (Eg. : Port Fowrawd).
3. Type your Private IP (This is your IP address).
4. Select “Both” in Protocol Type.
5. For Private Port & Public Port, type Listen Port that you used in BitComet.
6. Select “Always” for the Schedule (Or you can set your schedule). 

Port forwarding is used to allow Internet users access to LAN services.

In other words, you also able to enjoy the higher download speed from others BitComet client.
