I've been trying to download an anime series called Eyeshield 21 but it does'nt seem to be able to finish.  The file size is 5.85 gb and I have already downloaded over 5.97 gb and its still not stopping.  This has happend to 4 other files i've been trying to download.  It reaches 99.9 % then just stays there but keeps on downloading.

Anyone having same problem?  Is it a virus or something in bitcomet?

Have you tried manual hash check? Pretty neat when you stuck on 99.9%.

1) stop the task

2) right-click it

3) choose manual hash check

4) continue dloding

I also face with this problem .

But manual hash check sometimes didnt help at all .

If cant help ,

1) save your torrent

2) delete the task without delete the file

3) put the torrent again in the bitcomet

4) let the bitcomet hash check until finish

Now this should give a clean and clear download .

sometimes it is just a small .txt file that is unimportant so you can just ignore it

I've tried both cases, and none of them worked. Any other solution, anyone?

BitComet has an option to automatically do a hash check when torrent finishes. this is a good thing to do.

Also, if this happens more then once, its a sign that you may have a problem with your harddrive and/or file system. Scanning drives for errors is recommended.

Also, some routers can change pieces of data, making them fail hash checks, so bitcomet will continue to request the same piece over and over, because the router damages the data.

This problem can usually be corrected by disabling "gaming mode". This mode rewrites external IP addresses to match Internal IP address to allow some older internet games to be used on a LAN. The problem occurs when a piece of data, purely by chance, matches your external IP address. This seems to happen randomly once every 4-5 gigs of data, so will usually only be a problem with larger torrents.

Another way to finish the download would be to bypass your router until the torrent finishes.
