Muhammed, the man Great in every thing
Size: Large, Medium, Small Tue Jul 22, 08 01:47 PM | Category: Prophet Mohammed (PB

Muhammad (PBUH) the Man was great in everything……..great in all aspects and fields.

Great in his Manners:

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) was never furious"

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) never failed to keep his promises"

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) never took revenge for himself"

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) never hit a woman"

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) never lied"

Before his mission he was described as the truthful & the faithful and after the prophecy, our mother Aisha says: "his manners were the Quran".

Great in his Political Vision:

"He said after Al-Ahzab conquest: as of today we will invade them, not they us."

Great in his Spirituality:

"He used to pray till his feet swell and says:" shouldn't I be a thankful slave to Allah".

Great in his Forgiveness of his Enemies:

"Go your way, for you are free men"

Great in Inspiring Hope in the Hearts of People:

"Such matter (Islam) will spread like the night and day, to the extent that a woman will go out from her home in Hira to Ka'ba fearing no one but Allah".

Great in his Courage:

"When he said on the day of the conquest of Honain: I am the Prophet no lying, I am the son of Abd Al-Muttaleb."

Great in his Ability of Gathering People around him:

He knew the capabilities of people and used to place everyone of them in the right place……

Great with the Youth:

He used to gather the youth and organize a competition for them in throwing arrows, saying: "Throw o grandsons of Ismael, for your grandfather was a thrower". He used to organize them in teams and include himself in one of those teams, so his team used to keep on throwing without the others doing the same. He then used to ask them why don't you throw? They replied:" how can we do so while you are one of the other team". He (PBUH) said:" throw and I am with you all."

Great in the Eyes of his Wife:

The testimony of Khdija :"O Allah will never let you down". Wives are the best judges of their husbands and the best knowing their faults.

Though he is a mercy to all, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not die for Muslims' sins. It is to be made clear that the entire concept of someone dying for our sins is in utter contradiction with the Islamic view of the nature of man and God. In Islam, every individual is responsible for his/her own salvation. Everyone, male or female, can directly approach God without any intermediary of a prophet, saint or priest.

I've been thinking lately: What if Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was alive today and he happened to live here in Europe?

35. And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalim?n (wrong-doers)."

On the authority of Abu Zayd ibn Akhtab (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) passed his hand on my face then invoked Allah for me."

Azrah said, that (Abu Zayd ibn Akhtab) lived one hundred and twenty years, and had only few grey hairs.' Narrated by Al-Tirmithi, considered as a “Hasan” Hadith by Al-Hakim and Al-Dhahabi agreed with him.

On the authority of Jaber ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "When boys passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him), he would pass his hands on one or both of their cheeks. When I passed by him, he passed his hand on one of my cheeks. My cheek which the Prophet (peace be upon him) had passed his hand on, looked better than the other one." Narrated by At-Tabarani and its origin is in Sahih Muslim.

On the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him): "I attended a session for Allah's Messenger who then was holding a handful of gravel then the gravel said: 'Subhan Allah' i.e., All Praised be to Allah). Abu Bakr, Omar, `Uthman and `Aly were among us. All those who were in the session heard the gravel's Tasbih (saying:'Subhan Allah' i.e., All Praise be to Allah)" Narrated by Al-Tabarani and the “Isnad” (Chain of narrations) of At-Tabarani is “Sahih” right with reliable narrators.

This is well-expressed by Sheikh Jamal Addien Abu Zakariya Yahya ibn Yusuf As-Sarsari who said in a poem:

While mountains praised Allah responding to Dawood (David),

And titanic iron became flexible,

Hard rocks turned flexible, and gravel praised Allah in his palm.

While springs of water gushed forth by Moses' staff,

Water gushed forth from Muhammad's palm.
