Check with your provider what speed your subscribe to if your only on 2mb this is right see my line for instance is 10Mb line hench 800+kB/s but yours might be 2Mb line hench 100+kB/s i allocated bandwidth for other programs

If the router is wireless you could lose speed due to ping or bad signal, also only if another computer is running off the router would it affect the speed if your other laptop is off this should not be affected, if the modem is open check to see if other users are using your bandwidth also you do this by going to the modem status and getting your dhcp server number 168.192.x.x and typing it in your browser inserting your modem password and then look through the modem settings. some modems dont support this feature

This could be one factor not also theres other things to take into account, Automatic updates, msn, yahoo, antivirus programs, antispyware software use up bandwidth, your rating, also high speed cable has many different speeds available to subscribe to and the do capping on regular downloads. you got 150kB/s and you did a speed test ""my download speed was 1159 kbps and my upload speed was 317 kbps"" so thats the best you will get from any torrent downloader or any download unless you improve you line speed outside of bitcomet, bitcomet is not the issue. 150kB/s is right for 1159kbps your upload speed should be set at 75% of your speed on the test you got 317kbps so set limit to 25-30 kB/s

That depends on what speed your paying for, your currently at 1.1mb. but this is average for a say 2mb line, but the 15kB/s should be about 60kB/s with a 1159kbps the problem maybe with the torrent not having enough seeders, add a few torrents then check your speed and post me back

The best way to get the best speeds out of bitcomet is to have more than one download running at a time if your problem is with seeders and peers then you should get you 250kB/s If the problem still is there when you are running 4 downloads at a time message me and I will see if I can help. aloso goto my links or post on my blog and check out your bandwidth speed you may have a cap on from your service provider at certain times of the day. all links etc you need to do that is on my blog to get there just click my name under my picture

Try different torrents, if not try updating windows.
