Had you tried normal burning process insteas of nero? I mean insert a blank DVD, then copy paste the files you gonna to burn into dvd, just like you copy paste file in thumbdrive.
Also, if you want to play avi. films, you must make sure you have the program to view it such as quicktime (that good at playing avi.), real player and window media player (may request u to update or install codec). As far as i know, all those DVD that burned using computer normally cannot play in dvd player. Last time i burn rmvb. before and only supported by real player on PC, not dvd player. Maybe u have to convert your film to other format??
