Updates a pain in the ass Sun Jan 13, 08 01:37 PM

This is one of the many reason why I don't turn on my automatic updates.. I usually go to Microsoft windows update website and select only updates I needed.. sometimes what auto installed can make the system unstable so beware my friend take a good look of which update should you install and which don't

Wow!! that is really a very very big problem..

Beginning Today Sun Jan 13, 08 01:24 PM

Before you begin first please edit you post coz I can't see most of you picture hehe..no hard feeling k..

At last...... Sun Jan 13, 08 01:13 PM

Can I have one??

Wohohoho..I love OP very much..

Yo thanks man for the info..I've just downloaded and installed it and I've noticed some addition to this new release under peers section. But there is something weird with it, in the "Peer status" it show that I've downloaded 89.3% of the file while in the main task it show only 31.5%..?? what's happening?? Is this what you describe as bitcomet sending "wrong-completed-message" data?? or is it a new "function" which indicate new purpose??

I follow the link u give and I'm like eehhhh!!! ..IT'S IN JAPANESE MAN!!!!

The answer is suppose to be "YES". As you know download speed depends on many factor, one of its factor is how many source can you connect. According to Bitomet's statement in the "Introduction to Score, Rank and title" post, the higher your rank (which you gain by uploading/seeding to gain score) the more max resource you can connected thus increasing your download speed. But makes no mistake, it doesn't mean that by gaining higher rank or obtaining more score your download speed will exceed your max download speed which is the max download speed supported by you internet connection. Your Bitcomet's download speed also depends on the setting you've done. If you have configure your setting properly I believe you can get a decent download speed if not super fast.. Sorry for my "a little" broken english...hope you understand...

Man tell me what time is it to go there to find this??

Never in my life saw a ceature like this ..and most important thing is don't wanna see 1 ....This is not just a matter of mere fat problem, this is some kind of pollution issues to mankind's view..Wonder how much food they consume in a day...

So basically this is about trackers' arguements with the way Bitcomet act and not about Bitcomet breaching any of the specs set by BitTorrent right? Personally I also think that if Bitcomet act that way (like what you explain) yes it is wrong in the term of users because it will give wrong info about the quantity of seeder or leecher of the file being shared. But since it was not breaking any BitTorrent rules then there is no reason for any trackers to ban it. Is there no way to change this behaviour of Bitcomet so we can get the "not wrong" data without affecting its performance? or are they already have done something regarding this arguement? I'm really glad that you willing to take the time to explain it to me, thank you very much for that and I hope you will succeed on your mission to have Bitcomet unbanned by any many trackers if not all.. and thanks also for the blog's comment..

How nice of you..

Now this is what I call an informative post..Thank you for this. I've been looking everywhere for a detailed explanation of why many tracker banning Bitcomet. Glad to see a knowledgable person here in this community. I also have read the report in the link you provide and there is 1 thing that I didn't really get,it's about what you suggested to the writer of the repott;

"SUMMATION: Simply put, the BitTorrent protocol does not work that way. The tracker does not inform seeders that certain peers have preference or priority. BitComet user XSTREM suggested to me that BitComet may send a “Completed” announce message when the user elects to download only a few files from a torrent. He suggests that some tracker managers may be using that message in performing user-accounting".

What is this "completed announce message" thing? I'm trying to understand the concept of this client so as you said before I (and other Bitcomet's user) know how to say something to defend Bitcomet with a proven fact whenever someone state a wrong statement about Bitcomet.

Do you know the anime called "The Twelve Kingdoms"? After reading your post I found that there was a similarity between this two anime, only in The Twelve kingdom the protagonist of the story was a queen and not a priestes..
